A Small Act of Compassion That Became a Community Story
While heading to a business meeting in Covington, Jared Riecke and Executive Comptroller Paige heard faint cries coming from a wooded area near a job site. After investigating, they discovered three abandoned kittens in need of immediate help. The kittens were rescued, provided veterinary care, and ultimately placed in loving homes. Later recognized by Big Sky Ranch/CATNIP Foundation, the story serves as a reminder that leadership and community involvement often extend beyond business, reflecting the values of compassion, responsibility, and stewardship that help strengthen local communities.
