Jared J. Riecke is a Louisiana business executive, real estate developer, and community leader based in St. Tammany Parish. After graduating from Louisiana State University in 1994, Jared Riecke launched his first company, Gulf South Real Estate Management Group, beginning what would become a multi-state business portfolio spanning residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
Over the years, Jared Riecke has been involved in numerous projects focused on responsible growth and community development throughout Louisiana and the Gulf South.
In 2002, Jared Riecke became Chief Executive Officer of Southeastern Louisiana Water and Sewer Co., LLC (SELA), a privately held utility provider serving more than 130 subdivisions and service areas throughout St. Tammany Parish.
Under Riecke’s leadership, the company expanded its infrastructure capabilities and became a major provider of water and wastewater services for growing residential communities across the Northshore. The company’s growth ultimately led to its acquisition by St. Tammany Parish Government in 2010, ensuring long-term public stewardship of essential utility infrastructure.
The experience further strengthened Jared Riecke’s reputation as a business leader capable of navigating the intersection of private investment, public infrastructure, and community development.
Through the Riecke Family of Companies, Jared Riecke has expanded his business portfolio across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. His investments include residential housing, commercial real estate, and infrastructure projects that support economic development across the region.
Today, the portfolio includes more than 100 residential units and over 100,000 square feet of commercial space, including well-known Northshore properties such as Marina Beau Chene, along with a range of real estate and development ventures that contribute to the vitality of local communities.
Riecke represents the latest generation of a Louisiana family with longstanding involvement in regional banking, real estate development, and community investment, continuing a tradition of business leadership rooted in Southeast Louisiana.
Jared Riecke currently serves as Chairman of the Board of American Bank, a Louisiana-based community bank with locations across the state.
In this role, Riecke helps guide the bank’s mission of supporting small businesses, local investment, and responsible financial growth throughout Louisiana communities. His involvement with American Bank reflects a long-standing belief that strong local financial institutions play a critical role in sustaining healthy regional economies.
